Meet the Founder
👋 I’m Andres Reales, and I built Photo Album Buddy because my wife and I were constantly struggling to organize our own photo albums, especially after becoming parents.
What should have been a heartwarming activity often turned into a tedious chore. We found ourselves overwhelmed by thousands of pictures, and instead of enjoying the memories, we were stressed by the backlog.
After creating tools like Wise Owl Teacher and Story Writing Lab, I wanted to solve a personal problem that I knew many families faced. Photo Album Buddy is my way of turning a frustrating task into a joyful, daily habit.
The Story
Like many families, my wife and I loved capturing moments, but dreaded sorting them. Every vacation added another few thousand photos. Every month added hundreds more. Once we became parents, the number skyrocketed.
Organizing photos wasn’t the memory-filled experience we hoped it would be. It felt overwhelming, boring, and time-consuming.
The idea for Photo Album Buddy came from a simple realization:
If we don’t find an easy way to organize our photos daily, we’ll never keep up.
I wanted to build something that made organizing photos feel small and manageable. Something that takes less than five minutes, brings a sense of progress, and still lets you relive the joy behind every picture.
Photo Album Buddy was born from that need: a tool to help families stay connected to their memories without the stress.
